Contraindications

Unfortunately, ear candling is not appropriate for any of the following:

Perforated ear drum (or a healed perforation within the last 3 months)

Grommets or other drainage devices

Allergies to any of the ingredients

Antibiotics or any meds to treat ENT condition

Recent facial injury/recent scar tissue

Inability to tilt head

Pregnancy 1st 3 months

Epilepsy

Infectious conditions

Cochlear implants

Mastoidectomy

Small children who cannot lie still

Undiagnosed pain, lumps or swellings
